Hours: 37 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (some weekends required)
Pay: £15.84 - £20.33 per hour + agency support benefits

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee the market’s opening, closing, and security as a keyholder, ensuring smooth operations.
• Supervise two staff, manage rotas, and maintain high cleanliness and safety standards.
• Handle trader applications, stall lettings, and licence monitoring with the Foundational Economy team.
• Act as the go-to contact for traders and customers, resolving queries and keeping records spot-on.
• Boost occupancy and vibrancy through proactive engagement, events, and supply management.

What We’re Looking For:

• Skills: Strong organisation, communication, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience: Comfort managing people, premises, or customer-facing operations (market experience a plus but not essential).
• Qualities: Reliable, enthusiastic, and ready to roll up your sleeves for Pontypool’s traders and shoppers.
• Flexibility: Willing to work some weekends and bank holidays (with time off in lieu for extra hours).
