We are currently recruiting for an HR Business Partner to join a dynamic team providing professional HR advice, guidance, and support across multiple departments. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to work on both strategic and operational HR projects while contributing to key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
β Provide expert HR advice on employee relations, attendance management, contracts, organisational change, and redundancy consultations
β Develop an understanding of different service areas to provide effective workforce planning solutions
β Support and contribute to policy development and implementation, ensuring compliance with employment legislation
β Provide coaching and training to managers, staff, and School Governing Bodies on HR best practices
β Advise on disciplinary and grievance investigations, hearings, and appeals
β Analyse and provide absence data to support effective attendance management and work collaboratively with Occupational Health to reduce absence levels
β Assist in the design and implementation of recruitment strategies, ensuring alignment with business needs
β Attend Adult and/or Children Safeguarding Strategy Meetings, offering HR expertise in multi-agency cases
β Manage confidential HR data, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal policies
Essential Criteria:
β CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent degree-level HR qualification)
β Associate CIPD membership & evidence of Continuous Professional Development
β Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret workforce data and identify trends
β Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage conflict and influence stakeholders
β Sound knowledge of employment law, pensions, equalities legislation, and best HR practices
β Experience in organisational change, recruitment, and workforce planning
β Proficiency in HR software and IT systems
