Job Title: Waste and Recycling Driver (Temporary)

Contract: Temporary (24th February 2025 - 11th April 2025)
Hours: 37.00 hours per week
Start Time: 07:30
End Time: 15:30

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Waste and Recycling Driver to join our client, a leading public sector organisation. This is a temporary role to cover a period of leave.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate and maintain a waste and recycling collection vehicle (HGV Class 2 minimum).
Collect and dispose of waste and recycling materials from designated routes.
Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.
Work effectively as part of a team.
Perform pre-shift vehicle checks.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
Valid Driver CPC
Excellent driving skills and a good understanding of road regulations
Experience in waste and recycling collection (desirable)
Physically fit to perform manual labour
Strong time management and organisational skills
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Knowledge of local roads and traffic conditions
Experience using on-board vehicle systems
