Hours: 31.00 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

End Time: 15:00

Are you a physically fit and experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative with a passion for the outdoors?
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our client, a leading public sector organisation, on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out a range of grounds maintenance duties, including mowing, strimming, weeding, hedge cutting, and litter picking.
Operate and maintain a tractor and various tractor-mounted attachments (e.g., grass mowers, flail mowers).
Ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of outdoor spaces.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and site procedures.
**Work effectively as part of a positive and supportive team.

Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in grounds maintenance
Valid full UK driving licence
Experience operating a tractor and using tractor attachments (essential)
Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
Strong work ethic and a proactive approach
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Experience in using other grounds maintenance equipment (e.g., chainsaws, blowers)
First Aid qualification

Please Note:
This role involves seasonal variations in working hours:
Winter period (1st October to 31st March): 31 hours per week
Spring/Summer period (1st April to 30th September): 43 hours per week
