Employment Type: Temporary – long-term sickness cover

Duration: Until 24 December 2025 – very likely to extend
Hours: 7.5 hours per day | Mon–Thu 07:00–15:00 | Fri 07:00–14:30 (37.5 hrs/week)
Salary: PAYE: £12.85+ per hour | Umbrella: £16.32 per hour

Monmouthshire Waste & Recycling need strong, reliable Loaders to keep the rounds running smoothly over the busy winter period.

The Job

• Ride out on the wagons collecting kerbside waste & recycling (food, garden, dry mixed, residual, hygiene)
• Heavy lifting – bins, bags, boxes
• Leave every property tidy (bins back neatly, no mess left behind)
• Work rain or shine as part of a tight-knit crew

We Need

• Real physical fitness – this is proper graft
• Reliability – the wagon won’t wait
• Positive attitude & teamwork
• Happy to start at 07:00 (and finish early on Fridays!)
• Live local to Abergavenny / Monmouthshire (essential – no public transport to depot)
