End Date: Wednesday 24 December 2025 (4 weeks)
Hours & Shift Pattern:
32.5 hours per week – split shift

• Mornings: 06:30 – 09:30
• Afternoons/Evenings: 15:00 – 18:30
  (Monday–Friday – perfect if you want your middays free!)

Salary:
PAYE: £13.69+ per hour / Limited: £17.41 per hour

The Role – Keep a Lovely Welsh-Medium Primary School Running Smoothly
We need a reliable, hands-onCaretaker to cover the busy run-up to Christmas at a school in Tredegar.

Daily Duties Include:

• Opening the school at 06:30 – unlocking, turning on lights/heating, quick safety walk-round
• Minor repairs & maintenance (changing bulbs, unblocking sinks, basic DIY)
• Setting up/taking down chairs & tables for assemblies/events
• Portering & moving furniture
• General cleaning/tidying of communal areas
• Securing & locking up at 18:30

We’re Looking For

• Previous caretaker, premises, or school experience (ideal but not essential)
• Practical DIY skills – happy to turn your hand to most jobs
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy – you’ll hold the keys!
• Good communication skills (Welsh speakers particularly welcome)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
