Salary: PAYE: £16.60 per hour | Umbrella: £21.17 per hour

Are you a fully qualifiedPainter & Decorator with a passion for quality workmanship? NRW People is excited to offer a hands-on temporary Maintenance Officer role in Wenvoe. Starting 17 November 2025, this 24-week position covers a vacancy due to recruitment challenges, offering a chance to deliver essential building maintenance across the region.

What You’ll Do:

• Carry out high-standard painting and decorating tasks on council properties and facilities.
• Adapt to a variety of maintenance duties, working safely and efficiently within a professional team.
• Engage professionally with the public, follow instructions, and complete digital timesheets accurately.
• Work 37 hours weekly, using your full UK driving licence to travel between sites as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• A fully qualified Painter & Decorator (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) with proven experience in the trade.
• A valid full UK driving licence and strong communication skills for public-facing work.
• Ability to work full-time (37 hours) and reside within a reasonable commuting distance to CF5 6AA.

Essential Requirements:

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Signed Confidentiality Agreement (to be submitted with application).
• Criminal Convictions Declaration (to be submitted with application).
